International Boxing Association (AIBA) Extraordinary Congress is set in Budapest, Hungary on March 20th, 2020.
Executive Committee on its meeting on February 17th, voted in favour for the date and place, and also determined agenda of the event. Delegates will implement reforms and vote for new AIBA Statutes.
Interim President Dr Mohamed Moustahsane claimed that the Congress would be a landmark for new AIBA.
“I want to thank Hungarian Boxing Association and its President Dr Istvan Bajkai for their bid to host AIBA Extraordinary Congress on March 20th. This gesture in such a tough times is appreciated a lot by the whole AIBA family”, noted Moustahsane.
Deadline for delegate’s registration is February 25th.
